Online published on 23 December, 2016. Abstract Eight genotypes of Gum guar, Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (Linn.) Taub. were screened against fleabeele (F: Chrysomellidae), leafhoppers, Amrasca biguttela bigutella, Empoasca spp, aphid, Aphis medicagenis and leafminer, Liriomyza trifolii. None of the genotypes was found to be resistant to any of these pests. Based on seed yield, the genotype RGC1031 was superior (12.37 q/ha) followed by GAUG-13 (12.22 q/ha). The genotypes viz., RGC-1031 and GAUG-13 recorded lower mean population of fleabeetle (2.10 and 1.74/plant), leafhopper (3.23/top 3 leaves both), aphid (2.71 and 4.85/top 3 leaves) and leafminer (0.89 and 1.84/plant).
