Susceptibility of Different Genotypes/Cultivars Against Leaf Miner (Liriomyza trifolii Burgess) Infesting Tomato Variya M. V., Bharadiya A. M., Patel J. J. Department of Entomology, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh Online published on 15 December, 2016. Abstract Out of different 10 genotypes/cultivars of tomato screened against L. trifolii basedon number of mines/leaf, number of larvae/leaf and per cent damaged leaves, ATL 01–19 recorded minimum mines (3.58/leaf), larvae (0.73/leaf) and per cent damaged leaves (15.02) followed by AT-3 and JTL 04–14 considered as less susceptible. Genotypes ATL 09–06, ATL 09–05 and JTL 04–16 were moderately susceptible while, JTL 04–167 found susceptible which recorded more number of mines (6.16/leaf), larvae (1.06/leaf) and per cent damaged leaves (18.94) followed by DVRT-2 and GT-2. Genotype ATL 01–19 registered significantly higher (326.75 q/ha) fruit yield except AT-3 and ATL 09–07. Top Keywords Tomato, Leaf miner, Susceptibility, Genotypes/Cultivars. Top | |
