Data on problems, constraints and modus operandi was collected from 40 sample respondents each from Non-conventional area (NCA) and Conventional area (CA). The collected data was analyzed using simple tabular analysis. The results revealed that Majority of the farmers (57.50%) were persuaded by the seed companies for taking up Bt cotton seed production. All the farmers in the study area are satisfied with the area allowed by the company for Bt cotton seed production. Majority of the farmers in both areas of production opined that labour is sufficiently available but felt high wage rate was the top most production problem. The final settlement is received in 90 to 105 days from the date of harvest and there were no disputes regarding price and payment. Majority of the farmers opined that there is no change in the land fertility after Bt cotton seed production and also opined that high use of plant protection chemicals will not affect other crops. Farmers opined that they are facing some minor healthproblems after laborious hand emasculation and pollination operations.
