Abstract The present study was undertaken at ASPEE Agricultural Research and Development Farm, Village: Nare, Tal: Wada, Dist: Palghar (Maharashtra) during Rabi 2014–15 to study the effect of organic amendments in combination with RDF(Recommended Dose of Fertilizer) on infestation of okra shoot and fruit borer, Earias spp. under field condition. The minimum per cent fruit infestation was recorded in T2 (14.98) i.e. 50 per cent vermicompost + 50 per cent RDF which, was followed by T3 (16.28) i.e. 50 per cent poultry manure + 50 per cent RDF, T1 (17.72) i.e.50 per cent FYM + 50 per cent RDF and T4 (19.38) i.e. 50 per cent neem cake + 50 per cent RDF. The maximum per cent fruit infestation was observed in T7 (31.22) i.e. 100 per cent RDF (Check). Top Keywords Earias spp, Okra, vermicompost, Organic amendments. Top |
