Among various new insecticides dinotefuran 20 SG performed better for controlling the sucking insect pests over other insecticides used in the experiment with recorded yield of 15.44 q per hectare. Whereas, chloranthriniliprole 18.5 SC effectively managed flea beetle incidence. However, cost benefit ratio was also worked for different insecticides, among them acephate 75 SP was found to be highest cost benefit ratio (1: 4.43) with recorded yield of 10.36 q per hectare, hence acephate 75 SP @ 270 a.i per hectare can be recommended for controlling insect pest in Gum guar.
