Survey of Chickpea Wilt Caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri in India Gawande A. D., Mane S. S., Rakhonde P. N., Ingle R. W. Abstract Rapid roving survey was carried out during Rabi 2012–13 on 107 different locations among nine states of the India contained diverged agro ecological zones. Out of total location surveyed, fifty eight locations were from Maharashtra, five from Telangana, five from Madhya Pradesh, nine from Chattisgarh, five from Gujarat, fifteen from Rajasthan, three from Haryana, five from Punjab andtwo from Uttar Pradesh. The wilt incidence was recorded 1.71 to 66.73 per cent. The wilt incidence predominantly observed at reproductive stage i.e. flowering and podding stage of chickpea. The highest wilt incidence was observed at Hissar (Haryana) (66.73%) followed by Lonar (Maharashtra) (57.93%) and Salwa (Maharashtra) (51.79%). Zero to 100% association of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri observed with chickpea wilt along with some other pathogenic fungi viz., Rhizoctonia spp. Aspergillus spp. Macrophomina sp. etc. Top Keywords Survey, Wilt, Chickpea, Fusarium, India.
