Abstract The efficacy of various fungicides on radial growth, biomass and sclerotial production of Sclerotium rolfsii causing stem rot disease in ground nut was studied in vitro. Among the various fungicides tested, Iprovalicorp 5.5% + Probineb 61.25% WP, Cymoxanil 8%+Mancozeb 64% WP, Difenconazole 25% EC, Tebuconazole 25.9% EC, Fenomidone 10% + Mancozeb 50% WG, Probiconazole 25% EC, Propineb 70% WP, Tebuconazole 50% +Trifloxystrobin 25% WG were recorded complete inhibition(100%) ofradial growth of mycelium, biomass and sclerotial production at different concentrations viz., 500ppm, 1000ppm, 1500ppm and 2000ppm over control.
