Online published on 15 December, 2016. Abstract A field experiment was conducted during kharif, 2013 at agricultural college farm, Raichur. The experimental design was laid out in randomized complete block (RCBD) with nine treatments replicated thrice. The correlation study results showed that NDVI has good correlation with LAI, light interception, SLW, LNC, total chlorophyll content and plant height. However, seed cotton yield showed significantly higher correlation with sympodial branches, light interception at 60 DAS, leaf nitrogen content, total chlorophyll content, number of monopodial branches and plant height but had a negative correlation with stomatal resistance.
