The treated seeds were sown in germination tray. Hot water treatments were found to be good in breaking the seed dormancy in ten minutes of soaking and it improved the germination percentage from 20% to 78%. It also reduced the hard seed content. The seeds treated with hot water exhibited more vigour index and improved the seedling height. The germination percentage, vigour index and seedling length of Noni seeds can be improved by soaking them in hot water for about ten minutes.
