Effect of Multi-Micronutrient Formulations on Micronutrient Content, Uptake and Availability in Ratoon Crop of Spider Lily (Hymenocallis literolis L.) cv. Local

Abstract

The experiment carried to study the influence of multi-micronutrient formulations on micronutrient content, uptake and availability in ratoon crop of spider lily (Hymenocallis literolis L.). The various standard grades of formulations consisted of five micro nutrients (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and B) set to eight treatments as foliar and soil application laid out in Randomized Block Design. The treatment T5 (grade-IV) which constitute of Fe-4%, Mn-1%, Zn-6%, Cu0.5% and B-0.5% foliar application recorded highest content of Mn (106.2 ppm), Cu (36.39 ppm) and B (51.38 ppm). The highest micronutrient uptake Fe (615.51 mg/plant), Mn (201.68 mg/plant), Cu (68.81 mg/plant) and B (194.27 mg/plant) also observed from the treatment T5. The foliar application treatments sprayed at the concentration of 1%. The treatment T8 micronutrient application as per soil test value recorded highest content and uptake of Zn (86.48 ppm and 149.7 mg/plant) and higher levels of Fe (349.59 ppm and 599.58 mg/plant). The soil available Zn and Fe (1.9 ppm and 14.61 ppm) at the end of experiment are found highest in the treatment T8. The soil and leaf analysis reports suggests that the foliar application treatment T5 (grade-IV) and soil application treatment T8 (as per STV)are found to be sound in nutrient content and uptake of micronutrients in ratoon crop of spider lily.
