Online published on 15 December, 2016. Abstract Greengram was found to suffer from stem and root rot disease in severe form in Saurashtra region of Gujarat state during summer. The efficacy of various bio control agents was evaluated against Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi.) Goid causing root rot of greengram. Antagonism studies revealed that among six biocontrol agents T. harzianum-2 showed maximum inhibition (76.84) and superior over the other biocontrol agents followed by T. harzianum-3 (72.31%) and T. koningii (65.13%).
