Effect of Post-Harvest Chemical Treatments on Chemical Attributes of Aonla (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) CV. Krishna Bhujbal P.B., Pawar C. D., Alekar A. N. Online published on 2 January, 2017. Abstract The effect of zero energy cool chember and ambient temperature alongwith post-harvest treatments including carbendazim (0.1%), Waxol (6%), Calcium Chloride (1.0%), Gibberellic Acid (100 ppm), Calcium Nitrate (1.5%) on chemicalcomposition of aonla (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) Var. Krishna was studied. Increase in total soluble solids, total sugar and reducing sugars, reduction in titratable acidity and ascorbic acid were observed during storage period in all the treatments. Carbendazim 0.1% and stored in ZECC was found most efficient to retain chemical composition of fruits. Top Keywords Aonla, Zero energy cool chamber, post harvest treatments, chemical composition.
