Online published on 2 January, 2017. Abstract Isolation from the early blight infected potato leaves, collected from Anand, Modhuka, Nichidhanal, Deesa, Tharad and Jol areas of Gujarat, revealed the association of Alternaria alternata. The isolates collected from Anand, Modhuka, Nichidhanal, Deesa, Tharad and Jol areas were named as AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4, AA5 and AA6, respectively. Pathogenicity test was confirmed by inoculating the spore suspension (50 x 10³ conidia/ml) of A. alternata on healthy seedlings of potato.
