Entomology Section, College of Agriculture, Pune, MS Online published on 2 January, 2017. Abstract Investigations on ‘Persistent toxicity of synthetic insecticides to pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) on lucerne, Medicago sativa Linnaeus’ was undertaken at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, MPKV, Rahuri (M. S.) during 2014–2015. Persistent toxicity studies on lucerne revealed that maximum PT50 value (12.83 days) was recorded in thiamethoxam@ 25 g a. i./ha against the aphid, A. pisum. The PT50 values for imidacloprid, acetamiprid and diafenthiuronwere 10.39, 9.77 and 9.22, days, respectively. Top Keywords Acyrthosiphon pisum, insecticides, lucerne. Top |
