Abstract Seven entomopathogenic fungi and their combination treatments along with dimethoate as a standard check were evaluated against Amrasca biguttula biguttula Ishida on cotton at Rahuri, Dist-Ahmednagarduring kharif 2014–15. Among the entomopathogenic fungi and their combinations, the combination treatment with Verticillium lecanii 1.15% WP+ Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% WP proved to be highly effective in controlling jassid population which was next to treatment with dimethoate 30 EC. However it was found statistically at par with Beauveria bassiana 1.15% WP+ Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% WP + Verticillium lecanii 1.15% WP. Significantly the highest cotton yield (15.33 q/ha) was recorded with Verticillium lecanii 1.15%WP + Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% WP. On the basis of ICBR, Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% WP was found the most economical.
