Abstract The adoption of any production technology depends upon the availability of required inputs and their timely supply to the adopters and there socio-economic status or technological characters. The present investigation was carried out in two selected blocks of Rajnandgaon district. Sixteen villages were purposively selected and data were collected through personal interview method form 128 respondents. Collected data were analyzed by using appropriate statistical method viz., mean, percentage, correlation and regression were applied for the interpretation of data. The majority of the respondents was, educated, belonged to middle age group having small size of land holding and belonged to the medium level of income group. Regarding technological characteristics, about irrigation level, majority of the farmers were having very high level of irrigation facilities i. e. more than 75 per cent area under irrigation Tube wells were the major irrigation source. Most of the respondents had more than 200 per cent cropping intensity. Top Keywords Sunflower production technology, socio economic and technological characters. Top |
