Abstract The adoption of any production technology depends upon the availability of required inputs and their timely supply to the adopters and there psychological status and level of knowledge about particular technology. The present investigation was carried out in two selected blocks of Rajnandgaon district. Sixteen villages were purposively selected and data werecollectedthrough personal interview method form 128 respondents. Collected data were analyzedby using appropriate statistical method viz., mean, percentage, correlation and regression were applied for the interpretation of data. Majority of the respondents had medium level of economic motivation. The knowledge of the respondents about selected sunflower production technology indicated that maximum knowledge was found regarding seed rate practice followed by fertilizer use.
