The results shows that the infection of plant with kirramycesepicoccoides causes reduction in the carotenoid content. The carotenoid cantent for all the three samples of infected leaves ranges from 0.17 ± 0.01mg/gm.fr.wt., 0.19 ± 0.01 and 0.18 ± 0.02. But the healthy leaf sample show high carotenoid content. Results observed that carotenoid ranges from 0.34 ± 0.02 to 0.39 ± 0.01 mg/gm.fr.wt. and 0.39 ± 0.02 mg/gm.fr.wt. for healthy leaves of Eucalyptus plants.
