Online published on 23 May, 2013. Abstract Brinjal (Solanum melongena L.) is a major vegetable crop of India. Leaf spot caused by Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissler was an important disease resulting into severe problems of this crops in the vicinity of Jobner in Jaipur districts of Rajasthan. Leaf spot disease intensity was observed upto 25.32%.
