Effect of some newer insecticide formulations (Buprofezin + Acephate @ 800 gm ha−1, Buprofezin + Acephate @ 900 gm ha−1, Buprofezin + Acephate @ 1000 gm ha−1, Buprofezin @ 800 gm ha1, Acephate @ 667 gm ha−1, Acephate @ 592 gm ha−1, Monocrown @ 1390 ml ha−1) was tested on the survival of egg parasitoid, Telenomus sp. at Research farm of IGKV, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India during kharif, 2011. All insecticides hadasignificant adverseeffect on the emergence of Telenomus sp. The maximum rate of parasitization (%) by the Telenomus sp. was 58.66% in Water spray (control) plots while among the insecticidal treatments the maximum rate of parasitization (%) by Telenomus sp. was 48.20% in the plots treated with Buprofezin @ 800 gm ha−1and minimum rate of parasitization (%) was 9.66% in the plots treated with Acephate @ 592 gm ha−1.
