Evaluation of Soybean Genotypes Against the Major Disease

Abstract

16 genotypes tested against major diseases of Soybean, 4 entries were shown Highly Resistant, 3 were shown Moderately Resistant reaction to Rhizoctonia Root Rot and Rhizoctonia aerial blight disease, while in case of Pod Blight disease, 13 entries were shown Highly Resistant, and otic entry shown Moderately Resistant reaction, 4 entries were shown Absolutely Resistant, 12 entries were shown Highly Resistant reaction to Anthracnose disease, in case of Alternaria Leaf Spots disease,. 2 entries were found Absolutely Resistant and 14 entries were shown Highly Resistant reaction. When all of these entries tested against Target Leaf Spot disease, 12 entries were shown Absolutely Resistant, 4 entries were shown Highly Resistant reaction, whereas against Cercospora Leaf Spots disease, 15 entries were found Absolutely Resistant and one entry shown Highly Resistant reaction, 10 entries were shown Absolutely Resistant, 2 entries were "showed Highly Resistant and 3 entries were showed Moderately Resistant reaction to Bacterial Pustules; disease and the reaction to. Soybean Mosaic Virus disease, 14 entries were shown Absolutely Resistant and 2 entries were shown Highly Resistant reaction. Whereas, against Yellow Mosaic Virus disease 5 entries were shown Absolutely Resistant, 10 entries were shown Highly Resistant and one entry shown Moderately Resistant reaction.
