Abstract An attempt was made to assess the anti microbial activity of Calophyllum inophyllum Linn in vitro condition using acetone extract of leaf and stem by Agar well diffusion method. Staphylococcus aureus, E. Coli and Micrococcus sp., were used as test bacteria for assessing anti bacterial activity. The leaf and stem extract were found to possess good anti bacterial properties.
