Green business in India: Opportunities and challenges

Abstract

Building incorporates with several world-class energy and environment friendly, solar PV system and high efficiency HVAC system, indoor air quality monitoring, a passive cooling system using wind towers, high performance glass, aesthetic roof gardens, root zone treatment system, rain water harvesting etc. it boasts a 50% saving in overall energy consumption, 35% reduction in portable water consumption and usage of 80% recycled material. Most considerably, this building has widespread green building movement in India. The study objectives of Green Business company performance are analyzed through energy efficiency, water, GHC mitigation, material, recycling, waste management, green supply chain, life cycle assessment, etc. Further this study concentrated on green building projects and Green Products Opportunities and Challenges in India.
