Abstract A roadmap is a strategic plan that describes the steps an organization needs to take to achieve stated outcomes and goals. All roadmaps must have five key elements that assuresuccessful roadmap. These five elements are goals, milestones, gaps & barriers, action plans and finally priorities & timelines. this elements are related to each other and the relation is chained relationship.The most important element of a successful roadmap is priorities and timelines because this element is the enabler of all elements. This paper provides a review on technology roadmap.Then, we prioritized action plans an IEA technology roadmap. This paper firstly discusses technology roadmap process & literature, and secondly, clarifies prioritizing technology roadmap action plans. Our case study is IEA technology roadmap of electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles version of June 2011, that we implemented our study on it.
