Abstract The essential oils of Murraya koenigii, Citrus reticulata, and Curcuma longa were evaluated against Sitophilus oryzae, Rhyzopertha dominica, and Tribolium castaneum on stored wheat. All formulations were observed to protect the grains for a year in metal bins, and did not adversely affect the organoleptic properties of chapatti made from treated grain and germination.
