Abstract

A total of 16 numbers of dogs were necropsied for gross changes, histopathology examination and molecular diagnosis. Samples from different vital organs were processed for histopathological examinations. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed to detect the specific gene fragments of canine parvovirus which resulted in amplification of 483 bp region of VP2 gene and confirmed the diagnosis of CPV.
