Online published on 27 June, 2017. Abstract A memristor is a passive device which exhibits the properties of a variable resistance and that can be used as memory. It's a two terminal circuit element which expresses the relationship between the charge q and flux φ. Many circuit-theoretic properties of memristor reveals that memristor exhibits irregular behavior unlike from that exhibited by resistors inductors or capacitors so the memristor is truly fourth fundamental element. The current paper presents the overview of memristor and HP's memristor model. The properties of memristor are also presented. Top Keywords Inductor, capacitor, charge, flux, memristor, memristor.
