Efficacy of Bioagents on Seed Mycoflora, Seed Germination, Seedling Vigour Index and Field Emergence in Deshi Cotton (Gossypium Aerborium L.) Gawade S. B., Padule D. N., Mandhare V. K., Game B. C., Suryawanshi A. V. Seed Technology Research Unit (NSP), M P.K.V., Rahuri (M.S) Abstract The seeds of deshi cotton (Cv. JLA-794) wae treated with bioagents i.e. talc powder formulations of Pseudornonas fluarescens (0.6%), Trichoderma viride (0.6%), Pseudomonas fluorescens + Trichoderma viride (0.6%) each and Thiram + Garbendazim (0.2%) each as a reeommended fungicides. The seed treatment of P. fluorescens + T. viride was effective in reducing seed mycdflora i.e Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium moniliforme, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flams and Aternaria macrospora by 87, 100, 79, 76 and 100 per cent, respectively over untreated control. The seed germination, seedling vigour index and field emergence of deshi cotton was increased by 19.25, 21.33 and 11.27 %, respectively with this treatment. The mean seed germination, seedling vigourindex and field emergence in untreated control was 53.82, 1320.4 and 52.36%.
