Abstract

The nitrogen corrected metabolizable energy value (MEn) of poultry fat, soya soapstock and their equal mixtures were 8584, 7880 and 7210 Kcal/Kg respectively, A total of 540 week old broiler clicks were raised to 42 days in 4 x 3 x 3 factorial arrangement to investigate the effect of fats levels (0,2,4 and 6%), with different ME levels (2760, 2860 and Kcal/Kg) and different sources of fats mentioned above in broiler performance. There were linear and quibic regression between fat level x weight gain and fat level x feed conversion(P<0.05) during I to 6 weeks source of fat and level of ME in influenced the body weight gain and feed conversion significantly (P<0.05). There were no significant interactions between sourceof fat x level of ME, level and source of fat x level of fat and M.E. Results show that WAPF in 2% level in can be used effectively in broiler ration and equal blend of WAPF and SS will give better results.
