Abstract The term Quality of Work Life (QWL) aims at changing entire organizational climate by humanizing work, individualizing the organization and changing the structural and managerial system. It seeks to create culture of work commitment in the organization which will ensure higher productivity for the company and greater job satisfaction for the employees, it is as important to acknowledge that there are certain concerns that all people have in common, at least to some degree. Quality of Work Life policies are increasingly becoming part of the business strategies and focus is on the potential of these policies to influence employee's quality of working life and more importantly to help them maintain work-life balance with equal attention on performance and commitment at work.
