Abstract Pleurotus djamor was cultivated in different seasons viz. rainy, winter and spring seasons on three different substrates i.e. wheat straw (WS), sugarcane bagasses (SB) and sunflower stalks (SFS). The present study suggests that WS was the best substrate and autumn was best season to cultivate P. djamor. Sunflower stalks and winter season least preferred by P. djamor.
