Online published on 14 October, 2014. Abstract Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignant neoplasm of the Oral Cavity, usually affecting individuals over 50 years of age. This report describes a case of squamous cell carcinoma, involving the vestibular mucosa of 61-year-old male patient, with deleterious habits usually associated with oral cancer. This report is to emphasize that even in smooth-surfaced rapid-growing oral lesions, SCC should be considered in differential diagnosis and this needs a careful examination and management by both medical and dental practitioners.
