Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of academic performance activities, like participation in seminars, conferences, workshops, professional training programmes and research guidance, etc., on publication productivity of faculty members of agricultural sciences. The research population comprises of 235 faculty members working in Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, A.P. To collect data questionnaire was employed. Findings revealed that there is a positive correlation between academic performance and publication productivity of faculty members.
