Acceptance & emergence of internet banking Indian customer's perspective

Abstract

In the world of banking, the development in information technology has an enormous effect on development of more flexible payment methods and more user- friendly services. The key driver for the changes taking place around the world is information system services. Internet banking (IB) is the latest and most innovative service and is the new trend among the customers. The shift from the formal banking to e-banking has been a ‘leap’ change. This study examines the factors influencing the customer's acceptance of internet banking in India. It investigates the influence of effectiveness, accessibility and threat on use of IB.
