Procamallanus vysakhi n.sp (Nematoda: camallanidae) from marine fish, Johnius carutta bloch, at Visakhapatnam Lakshmi I. Rajya Dept. of Zoology, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam -530 003, Andhra Pradesh, India Online published on 26 February, 2013. Abstract Procamallanus vysakhi n.sp recovered from instestine of Johnius carutta Bloch from Bay of Bengal at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) is described. These specimens do not agree with the description of known species of the genus. Hence a detailed description of the specimens are given in this paper. The new species in distinguished by body measurements, structure of spiral thickenings, position of nerve ring and excretory pore, absence of gubernaculum, length of spicules, number and arrangement of candal papillae and shape of tail end.
