Online published on 3 November, 2012. Abstract The study entitled work- life balance of the workers has been carried out at Tamilnadu Magnesite Limited, Tamilnadu. This study examined the perception of factory workers about work life balance in general. This is based on workers survey through questionnaire as well as personal interview in the company. This study consists of a sample size of 150 workers in various departments. The researchers collected the required data through structured non-disguised questionnaire method and followed simple random sampling method. Non parametric test chi-square analysis is applied to know whether there is relationship between work experience and time spend at work. The conclusion will lead many employers to consider afresh what they can do to foster more positive employee relations, maintain or improve employee morale and encourage a healthier working environment.
