Abstract Education as a key resource for social change and development must incorporate major changes in the methods of dissemination of knowledge so that it can synchronise with the emerging trends in all sectors of life. The present day educational system has undergone many changes due to innovations in the field of Information & Communication Technology. Through the present paper, an attempt has been made to make a comparative analysis of the existing course curricula at the Master degree level of the library and information science (MLIS) education in the universities of Odisha. This paper is focused on the inclusion of different ICT components in MLIS curricula of four universities of Odisha.
