EMC/EMI in electrical and electronics system Anantapreecha Sinchai EMC Consulting Engineer, Kumwell Co. Ltd., Thailand Online published on 3 October, 2018. Abstract This paper intends to describe the effect of grounding installation in electrical and electronic system. If the grounded connection had been correct installed by the rule of standard regulation, the EMC will meet in specification. By the way if there is improper connection of the grounding, it can lead to potential problem with electromagnetic interference (EMI). EMI consists of any unwanted, spurious, conducted, or radiated signals of electrical origin that can cause degradation in equipment performance. Because of these problems, all components must comply with specifications to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and there are numerous design methods that can be used to prevent EMI. Top |
