Online published on 15 December, 2016. Abstract Increased dependence on pesticides has created many problems like resistance, resurgence, residue, safety issues and biodiversity depletion. To tackle these problems, more focus should be given on biocontrol methods for pest management. Entomopathogenic fungi as well as the metabolites produced by them plays an important role in pest management. The major fungal metabolites and the techniques to enhance the activity of entomopathogenic fungi are discussed in this review. Top Keywords Entomopathogenic fungi, Entomofungal metabolites-Cuticle degrading enzymes, toxins, organic acids. Top | |
