Abstract

Now-a-days, the manufacturer are producing various types of the two wheelers on the basis of capacity, convenience etc. The consumers are not in a position to identify the good brand because in the near future other varieties of vehicles will also be introduced by the competitive producers. Usually the customers prefer only light weight for easy handling. Some consumers buy a brand due to the advice of another customer. Some consumers wait for their favourable brand when such brands are not readily available in the market. Human attitudes are complex by nature. In this complex world, consumer behaviour changes from person to person, place to place and time to time. Consumer decision making is a dynamic process. The performance of consumers differs according to their needs and wants. In this, the researcher has made an attempt to identify the motives of the purchaser. It is not an easy job to attain success in the market. The marketer has to identify the factors which influence the buying behaviour. The consumers consider all the marketing aspects such as price, promotion, brand, advertising etc. This research makes an attempt towards the SWOT Analysis of Bajaj Two wheelers in Virudhunagar District of Tamilnadu. The study is relevant to the present as the market is flooded with a wide choice of models, which are preferred by the consumers. Further it helps to understand the factors, which influences the consumers to purchase a particular brand.
