Abstract The main aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on prevention of pneumonia among mothers of under five children with the sample size of 50. Pre experimental research design was adopted for the study. Samples were selected by using non probability purposive sampling technique. The result of the study concluded that structured teaching programme increased the knowledge of mothers of under five children.
