Abstract Agriculture sector has a great potential to boost up the rural economy andto overcome the unemployment in India where more than two-thirds of people live in rural area. In order to transform Agricultural sector into information driven, modern and competitive sector; role of ICT cannot be overruled. Various ICT projects like Gyandoot Project, Warana Wired Village Project, Kisan Call Centre (KCC), FASAL and other ICT projects have been successfully implemented in rural area and it help to improve livelihood of rural people. Now a day our government focuses on digital India and the contribution of e-governance for connecting each and every person by using various projects like GSWAN, e-dhara, e-Chopal that make people's lives easier.
