Effect of Consanguineous Marriage on Offspring Among Adolescent Girls Shenbagapraba1, Devipriya2 1Asst. Lecturer, Chettinad College Of Nursing, Chennai 2Professor, KTG College of Nursing, Bangalore Online published on 23 May, 2017. Abstract The study aimed to assess the effects of consanguineous marriage among school students in selected schools at Bangalore. A descriptive research design was used in this study. 60 samples were selected by adopting non-probability convenience sampling technique. A questionnaire was used to assess the level of knowledge regarding consanguineous marriage the reliability score was r=0.78. The overall mean score percentage were 77%. The mean score of consanguineous marriage of females were 53. There was no significant association between the level of knowledge regarding consanguineous marriage of school students and their mother's education. Top Keywords Consanguineous, adolescents.
